About

I’m Dr Tevin Naidu, a medical doctor, philosopher, and relentless explorer of what it means to be human.

My Approach

My work sits at the intersection of Mind, Matter, and Meaning. I help people understand the intricate relationship between their biology, their psychology, and their search for purpose. Through clinical practice, deep conversations, and public engagement, I bridge rigorous science with philosophical wisdom to help individuals build a clearer mind, a healthier body, and a more meaningful life.

I run a full-service medical practice on the West Coast of Cape Town, where I combine thorough clinical care with a strong focus on metabolic health, preventative medicine, mental wellbeing, and longevity. I also serve as Medical Advisor for C-Health, supporting the development of evidence-based supplements.

My path has never been conventional. After graduating with an MBChB from Stellenbosch University, completing my internship at King Edward VIII Hospital, and serving as a Medical Officer in the South African Military Health Service, I chose to go deeper. I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in General Practice (Cum Laude), followed by an MPhil in the Philosophy and Ethics of Mental Health (with Distinction) from the University of Pretoria. I later pursued an International MetaMasters in Phenomenology and Values-Based Clinical Care with St Catherine’s College, University of Oxford.

My Journey

Long before medicine, I stepped into the spotlight. After being crowned the inaugural Mr India South Africa, I spent over a decade hosting two of the country’s most popular Asian lifestyle shows – Eastern Mosaic and Mela. Those years taught me the power of authentic communication and human connection.

Then came one of the most intense experiences of my life: competing on Survivor South Africa – twice. Living on an island with almost nothing stripped me down to my core. It taught me lessons about resilience, strategy, leadership, and the raw power of the human spirit that no textbook could ever provide.

Today, I bring everything I’ve learned into Mind-Body Solution – my podcast and platform where I sit down for long-form conversations with some of the world’s sharpest minds in science, philosophy, consciousness studies, and medicine. These dialogues are not just interviews. They are genuine explorations into the deepest questions of human existence.

My Mission

From the hospital wards to remote islands, from television studios to lecture halls, every chapter of my life has reinforced the same truth: real health cannot be separated from meaning. The mind, the body, and our search for purpose are inseparable.

My mission is simple yet ambitious – to help people truly understand themselves so they can live longer, healthier, and more deeply fulfilled lives.
